Melanotan 2 (also referred to as Melanotan II) is a synthetically produced variant of a peptide hormone naturally produced in the body that stimulates melanogenesis, a process responsible for pigmentation of the skin. This peptide hormone, called alpha-Melanocyte stimulating hormone or MSH, activates certain melanocortin receptors in the process of exerting its effects.
Indeed, MSH also exerts potent influence over lipid metabolism, appetite, and sexual libido via these melanocortin receptors. As a result, Melanotan 2 has been shown in studies to exhibit appetite suppressant, lipolytic, and libido-enhancing effects in addition to promoting skin tanning.
Melanotan 2 has been researched extensively for use in protecting against the harmful effects of ultraviolet radiation from sunlight due to its melanogenesis-stimulating properties.
Additionally, Melanotan 2 and a similar synthetically produced variant, known as PT-141, have been studied at length as a potential remedy for the treatment of sexual dysfunction; specifically, male erectile dysfunction.
Mixing Instructions:
- Draw the 2ml of water from the break glass ampule with the needle and syringe provided.
- Remove the small flip off cap from the peptide bottle containing the powder and fill the bottle with the 2ml water.DO NOT SHAKE.
- Allow to stand for 5 minutes. Swirl contents around slowly, to lightly mix the solution and the powder.
- Using the same needle and syringe, remove all the solution from the bottle, and fill the nasal spray bottle. (Note: The Nasal spray bottle will already contain 13ml of liquid. You will be adding another 2ml to the activated solution).
- Close the Nasal spray bottle tightly.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
Loading Phase:
Day 1 – 1 Pump per nostril
Day 2 – 2 Pumps per nostril
Day 3 to 21
2 Pumps per nostril in the morning.
2 Pumps per nostril at lunch time.
2 Pump per nostril at night.
Maintenance Dose:
4-8 Pumps every second day, depending on your skin tone and desired colour.
